How to
get to the Emsworth Food Festival 2006
The
Observer Park & Ride Scheme
9.00am to 5.45pm Daily
Car park close at 6.00pm
As in 2003, 04 & 05, the Park & Ride scheme has
been generously sponsored by the Observer group
of newspapers covering Chichester, Bognor &
Midhurst and is invaluable for visitors and
locals alike to get around and reduce the
pressure on the village’s modest parking
availability. In conjunction with the Observer
we are pleased to receive the organisational
support of the Havant Rotary Club who are
supplying the car park marshalling.
Convenience
Emsworth & District buses will run
approximately every ten minutes from the
Recreation Ground on the Horndean Road in the
North of Emsworth and drop off and pick up in
North Street.
Value
The Park & Ride costs just £2 per car and
covers as many return journeys as you may
require. This represents fantastic value as car
parking in the village starts at 40p per hour.
The Park & Ride scheme runs from 9.00am to5.45pm
each day Car park close at 6.00pm
Mobility Problem?
In addition to the conventional Park & Ride
we are pleased to be able to offer disabled
visitors a dedicated adapted Park & Ride Bus and
disabled parking spaces* close to the bus just
inside the entrance to the Park & Ride and
wheelchair hire.
*subject to availability
Please note that only residents
living in the centre of Emsworth will have
vehicular access to the village centre; all
other visiting traffic will be directed to the
Park & Ride in the North of the Village on the
Horndean Road.
